 "Have you ever wanted a personal trainer but couldn't afford the cost? Are your workouts at very inconvenient times? Do you need someone to push you in order to that 3rd or 4th set of intervals but don't have the motivation to hire an actual trainer? Are your workouts lacking in variety therefore you are no longer seeing the results you want? Well, if any of the above apply I can honestly say that using the The In-Home Personal Trainer DVD workouts is not the next-best-thing but rather equally as productive as hiring an excellent trainer to train you himself.
I can say this first-hand because I did hire Jim himself and he trained me in my home for 6 weeks. Over 2 years later I purchased his videos and I felt like we were back to training together. These tapes are no-frills. There is no annoying techno music playing in the back and there are no skinny barbie-doll woman in thongs making you feel less beautiful or in shape. It is exactly the way he trains as if he were there next to you talking you through the exercises and motivating you to push yourself beyond your limits. He even laughs at himself when he says something funny or mis-counts the same way he did when he trained me.
It is the best way to get a thorough at-home workout for those who don't have the resources, time or motivation to do it alone. The best part is that it is in the convenience of your own home at your own schedule and you get to decide your level of intensity. I highly recommend Jim's DVD workouts for anyone like myself who knows they want results and needs the variety and extra push without the need to schedule an appointment.

In October of 2007, I contacted Coughlin Fitness and Results to hire a trainer. Luckily for me, Jim was available. I worked with him for 6 weeks on the Total Body Makeover. 5 days a week, he was there with me doing cardio or strength training.
